The geckos from this island are one of the smallest localities to date, with very short snouts, short tails, and a very compact little body. Typically, it does not reach over 220g. These geckos have a very light yellowish background with crisp-edged white to pink and heavily peppered blotches. Older specimens also display dalmatian spots of yellow.

Animals from this locality also commonly have a backward tilting iris, almost giving them a stargazing appearance. Because of their small size, colorful appearance, and usual docile temperament, these little gems are one of the more popular leachianus forms among hobbyists.
