Rhacodactylus leachianus : Mt. Dore (GT: Grande Terre)

The animals belonging to this locality are relatively rare at the moment. Possibly, what has long been considered the true southern blotched Grande Terre leachianus. With a lightish cream to olive green/brown background pattern, this form has Yellowish white bars along the sides with sparse, almost vanishing blotching on the back. The labial scales are generally yellow, and the head and body structure are typical of southern Grande Terre.

Original collected animals are now in the 38 cm length range.
