One of the most sought after locali ties in herpetoculture, it's a long, lean, with an elongated snout, streamline
trunk and long tail, this is one of the longest of GT leachianus. This patternless form is commonly ill tempered and very territorial, making it one of the most difficult localities to pair and produce. This limited production keeps them very high in demand. Appearing almost melanistic as adults, hatchlings of the dark morph do not display a melanistic appearance. Yellow lips and eye ring can be seen in both fo1ms with older animals sometimes displaying sparse yellow dalmatian like pot . The first animals of this locality are said to be imported in the late eighties/early nineties from German expeditions in the area of Poindimie, in the north east of Grande Terre.
Green Poindimié
This is a very rare form occurring in the Poindimié region. Contrary to some people's belief, green
Poindimié aren't a color variation of the black on but a completely distinct form.
While the dark Poindimie are long and lean, the green Poindimié are bulky and strongly built imilar to at
leachianus. This patternless form has a greenish background coloration with sometime few white spot on the sides. The babies hatch with pinkish blotche that vanish as they grow.
